Kunming, CN - Lighthouse award in Supply-Chain and Resilience

A care-products manufacturer rooted in traditional Chinese medicine faced volatile demand from live-selling channels, more than two million scattered retail outlets, and a three-year medicinal-herb supply chain spread across vast rural geographies. It rebuilt planning, cultivation, production and quality release around AI — satellite-fed yield forecasting, a multimodal model coaching smallholder farmers, gradient-boosted demand sensing, a one-step paste process steered by thousands of sensors, and an automated batch-release engine — to turn an inherently uncertain supply chain into a synchronised one.
