This plant assembles configure-to-order enterprise storage systems in a market where falling hardware prices made service speed and resilience the main competitive lever, just as demand for AI-ready infrastructure surged. More than 60% of revenue lands in the final two weeks of each quarter, and a portfolio that had grown past 3,000 SKUs overwhelmed planning, configuration and fulfilment, where fragmented data and largely manual workflows stretched lead times. The site built an autonomous decision layer across the order-to-ship chain: AI deal-prediction for demand planning, a business-intelligence inventory control tower, a generative-AI pre-sales engine, vision- and IoT-guided assembly, and a modular orchestration platform that configures each system with fewer than ten manual touches. Order-to-ship lead time fell 77%, inventory halved, and the plant moved from reactive fulfilment to proactive, end-to-end orchestration while cutting Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 32%.

Mass customization — high mix, low volume — for social-infrastructure customers strained resource use, productivity and customer-feedback loops. Using data, IIoT and analytics, the site built end-to-end digital applications that addressed those challenges and opened new businesses, including digital-twin-based testing and cyber-security training for customers.
