The plant produces high-volume NCM cylindrical cells for consumer electronics in a market where prices fell roughly 46% in two years and customers tightened quality tolerances. The site had to cut defects, stabilise yield and lift equipment efficiency without adding cost. It moved from manual, sample-based and reactive workflows to predictive, data-driven and closed-loop operations across mixing, coating, calendering, winding, assembly and final test.
