The site's customer was suffering falling units-per-hour, rising overtime and runaway training costs as forecasts and labour supply grew more volatile. The 3PL operator responded by stitching together a digital control tower, a fleet of picking and unloading robots, advanced workforce analytics and predictive replenishment, then ran the building from a single integrated view. The result was tens of millions of dollars in savings and measurable gains in throughput, fill rate and quality.
